I came across Spelthorne Eagles after taking my son along and straight away loved the energy, community, and passion for the game. I used to hoop back in school, so it feels great to be around the sport again. The club supported me while I completed my Level 2 coaching qualification, and now I’m proud to head coach the U14s and assist with the U10–U12s, helping kids build confidence, become better players, have fun, and pick up skills they can use in every part of life.

Jamie Glencross

I would help out. Now I work alongside Coach Isaac to help young players on the start of their basketball journey.
I coach the Under 10 CVL Boys team and help out in the Under 6's session.

With over 10 years of playing experience, I've developed a strong passion for coaching. At my youth academy, I assisted with the U12 and U14 teams and provided personal training for kids aged 8 to 16. While living abroad, I played for the youth national team, joined the academy team, and trained with the professional team. I continue to pursue basketball at a high level, currently playing for my university team and seeking club opportunities. Now, I'm excited to start my coaching journey with the Eagles as a coach for our open and school sessions, as well as the assistant coach to Coach Isaac for the boys' U16 national league team.
